Baseball Recap: Adamson Leopards vs. Mansfield Summit Jaguars

Adamson extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-3. They lost 8-0 to the Mansfield Summit Jaguars. The Leopards were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2025.

Adamson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Najera, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

On the hitting side, Richard Graves was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one triple. That's the most doubles he has posted since back in February of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Clarence C3 Nevels III, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one run.

Coming up, Adamson will be taking part in a tournament against Melissa at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cardinals' pitching crew has only allowed 1.3 runs per game this season, so the Leopards' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mansfield Summit, they will welcome Crowley at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
