Recap: Vina Red Devils vs. Phil Campbell Bobcats
The Vina Red Devils suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They had to suffer through a rough 62-34 loss at the hands of Phil Campbell. Vina has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Vina still got an impressive performance from Sara Harper, who scored 17 points along with two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaley Attaway, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds.
Vina has been struggling recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 16 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for Phil Campbell, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Vina will challenge Berry at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Phil Campbell, they will head out on the road to challenge Colbert Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
