Clawson is 8-2 against Sterling Heights since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Trojans will be playing at home against the Stallions at 4:30 p.m. Clawson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.

Clawson will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Saturday, then bounced right back against Capac on Saturday. The Trojans came out on top against the Chiefs by a score of 10-6.

The team relied heavily on Elliott Groves, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Fulks, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Sterling Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to New Haven.

Clawson is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Sterling Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.

Clawson took their victory against Sterling Heights in their previous meeting back in April by a conclusive 13-2 score. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Stallions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
