There's no place like home for Leonardtown, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Wednesday. They never let the Thomas Stone Cougars get on the board and left with  a   22-0  win  on Thursday. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 14  runs or more this season.
 Ashley Watson made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Vanessa Brooks, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  home run, four  runs,  and five  RBI. That's the most  hits  she has posted since back in May of 2024.  Lindsay Hunter was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Leonardtown was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .606. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Leonardtown's victory was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 8-1. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Thomas Stone,  they are  on  a  24-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
