Baseball Recap: Mission Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

While Mission put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for The Academy - San Francisco. The Bears put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp 14-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 21-0 on Wednesday.

Alani Krejci was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two doubles and one triple. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Noe Zuleta was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one double.

Mission was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .636. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in five consecutive games.

Mission's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11. As for The Academy - San Francisco, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
