Baseball Game Preview: Philadelphia Academy Charter Chargers vs. Science Leadership Academy

Philadelphia Academy Charter is leaving town to face Science Leadership Academy after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. Philadelphia Academy Charter fell just short of Franklin Towne by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Philadelphia Academy Charter saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Comitalo, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Meanwhile, Science Leadership Academy beat Carver High School of Engineering & Science 7-2 on Tuesday.

Nick Attanasio was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one double. Winslow Coleman was another, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-3.

Philadelphia Academy Charter might still be hurting after the 11-1 defeat they got from Science Leadership Academy in their previous meeting back in May of 2021. Can Philadelphia Academy Charter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
