Softball Recap: Downtown Magnets Comes Up Short

The Downtown Magnets Suns lost 17-2 to the George Washington Prep Generals on Thursday. The Suns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Downtown Magnets' loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Downtown Magnets will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Annenberg at 2:30 p.m. on March 28th. As for George Washington Prep, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Hawthorne Math & Science Academy at 3:00 p.m.
