After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Anne-Pacelli, LaGrange Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Oak Mountain Academy Warriors 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day LaGrange Academy got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-14, 23-25, 25-22, 13-25, 17-15.

LaGrange Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Oak Mountain Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

LaGrange Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Dunwoody on the 23rd. As for Oak Mountain Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Central Fellowship Christian Academy on the 26th.
