Basketball Game Preview: Beaver River Beavers vs. Sauquoit Valley Indians

The Beaver River Beavers will take on the Sauquoit Valley Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Beaver River has seven straight wins, Sauquoit Valley has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

While Beaver River didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 61-49 victory over Solvay on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Sauquoit Valley took a blow against Little Falls on Friday, falling 70-43.

Beaver River pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points per game. As for Sauquoit Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
