            Softball Recap: Southwind Jaguars vs. Bartlett Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            Southwind had lost ten straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 4-10 to make it 11. They lost  16-0 to the Bartlett Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  19-4  on Tuesday.
As for Bartlett,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-23. The  matchup marked their most dominant  victory of the  season.
For Bartlett's part,  Tamra Eason made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Eason has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with three  RBI. Those  three  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Brenlee Suarez and  Codie Rae Walter did most of the damage at the plate:  Suarez  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  stolen base, while  Walter  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. That's the most  runs  Walter has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Briley James, who  went a perfect 1-for-1 with two  runs and one  RBI.
 Looking ahead, Southwind will head out to  square off against Overton  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Bartlett, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Collierville  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
