Basketball Recap: Leggett Takes a Loss

Leggett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. The contest between them and the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats didn't end well, with the Leggett Pirates falling 76-57. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-42 on January 3rd.

Leggett's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Hull-Daisetta, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-7.

Leggett will square off against Spurger at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hull-Daisetta, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats face off against the Brookeland Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brookeland knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 15 games -- so hopefully Hull-Daisetta likes a good challenge.
