Basketball Recap: Tupelo Christian Prep Piles Up the Points Against Tremont

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Biggersville, Tupelo Christian Prep was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 68-28 win over the Tremont Eagles. The victory was some much needed relief for Tupelo Christian Prep as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Tremont lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Andrew Curtis, who posted nine points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Platt, who earned eight points and four blocks.

Tupelo Christian Prep's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Tremont, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Tupelo Christian Prep has already played their next game (against Wheeler), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tremont has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Baldwyn.
