Basketball Game Preview: Woodbury Central Wildcats vs. Trinity Christian Tigers

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Woodbury Central Wildcats face off against the Trinity Christian Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday... Trinity Christian took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Woodbury Central, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Woodbury Central didn't have too much trouble with Ridge View as they won 54-40.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 42-41 to St. Mary's.

Woodbury Central is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Trinity Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Things could have been worse for Woodbury Central, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 45-31 loss to Trinity Christian in their previous meeting back in February of 2024.
