Basketball Recap: East Comes Up Short

East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 58-49 to the Ellet Orangemen. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-50 back in January.

East's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Ellet, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East will host Marietta at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ellet, they will square off against John F. Kennedy at 3:00 p.m. on February 8th.
