Baseball Recap: Glen Ridge Comes Up Short

Glen Ridge couldn't beat Montclair on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Ridgers lost 14-4 to the Mounties. The Ridgers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Matt Bayne was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Glen Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Montclair, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glen Ridge will venture away from home to challenge North Bergen at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Montclair, they will head out to face off against Seton Hall Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
