Football Recap: Higley's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road + How To Watch

Higley dropped to 6-4 on Friday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins on the road. They received a blow as they fell 31-13 to the Centennial Coyotes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 48-13 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2018.

Higley didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off six passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Aurei Moody. Dax White was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making 16 total tackles (4.0 for loss).

As for Centennial, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points over those games.

Owen Reynoso had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 88 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Damonte Drake, who rushed for 74 yards and one score on only eight carries.

Higley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 26-17 victory against O'Connor on the 14th. As for Centennial, they have also already played their next game, a 14-0 defeat against Mountain View on the 14th.
