Baseball Recap: Walnut Takes a Loss

Walnut fell victim to East Union and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Urchins, falling 15-0. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Urchins when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Walnut has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for East Union, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

While Walnut had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
