Softball Recap: Lewis Mills Comes Up Short

Lewis Mills blew Simsbury out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Simsbury got their revenge. The Spartans fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 3-1. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Lewis Mills saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Megyn Larose, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Lewis Mills has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Simsbury, they pushed their record up to 9-2-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.
