Freedom came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Northampton Konkrete Kids. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

While Freedom won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 25-23.

Landry Guman paced Freedom's offense, picking up 16 kills. Guman got some help from Sara Kokolus and her 32 assists. Kokolus was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Freedom's victory bumped their record up to 8-3-1. As for Northampton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Coming up, Freedom will host Bethlehem Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northampton, they are taking a road trip to face off against Easton Area at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
