Soccer Game Recap: Maine South vs. Taft

Maine South had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Their defense stepped up to hand the Taft Eagles a 2-0 shutout on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Ella Rice and Francesca Trippedi scored both of Maine South's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.
