Football Recap: Somerset Sky Pointe's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Somerset Sky Pointe came into Thursday's contest having lost 12 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 35-25 win over the Spring Valley Grizzlies on Thursday. The Eagles' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last five games.

Somerset Sky Pointe found their leader in sophomore Aaliyah Gonzalez, who threw for 184 yards and two touchdowns while completing 87.5% of her passes, and also rushed for 45 yards and one touchdown. Alina Olson was another key player, picking up 59 receiving yards and one touchdown.
