Volleyball Recap: Legacy Christian Academy Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Legacy Christian Academy had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Nolan Catholic Vikings by a score of 3-1. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Vikings back in August, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

While Legacy Christian Academy might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Nolan Catholic scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 19-25, 25-18, 25-21.

Despite the defeat, Nolan Catholic saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Caitlin Carrizales had 19 digs and two assists.

Legacy Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Nolan Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record this season.

Legacy Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Prestonwood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nolan Catholic, they will host Trinity Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
