The Tygarts Valley Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Tygarts Valley enjoyed a cozy 54-39 victory over Notre Dame.
Summer Lewis-Smith continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Kailen Yokum, who scored ten points along with four steals.
Tygarts Valley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-10 record this season. As for Notre Dame, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.
Tygarts Valley will head out on the road to take on Union at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Notre Dame, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Paden City at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
