Softball Recap: Courtland Find Success

Courtland and Chancellor pushed the score to 20-0 the last time they played Chancellor, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Cougars' pitchers stepped up to hand the Chargers a 1-0 shutout. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Courtland's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Chancellor, they are on a 34-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Coincidentally, Courtland and Chancellor will both be playing Caroline the next time they take the field. The Cougars will host the Cavaliers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Chargers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
