Soccer Recap: Battle Creek Takes a Loss

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Battle Creek was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They came up short against the Forrest Rockets, falling 5-1. The game was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Grizzlies couldn't quite close it out.

Battle Creek dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Forrest, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Battle Creek will face off against Wayne County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Forrest, they will square off against Culleoka at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
