Softball Recap: Roosevelt's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Tea last Tuesday, Roosevelt came back down to earth. The Rough Riders came up short against the Harrisburg Tigers on Thursday, falling 16-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Rough Riders in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Roosevelt saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Desiree Hinsch, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Having lost for the first time this season, Roosevelt fell to 2-1. As for Harrisburg, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Roosevelt will face off against rival Yankton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Harrisburg is set to challenge their familiar foe Brandon Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
