Soccer Recap: Friday's Victory Is Hunt's 11th in Last 12 Outings

Fike typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Hunt proved too difficult a challenge. They never let the Demons get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Mariah Polk had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Hunt.

Hunt has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 81 goals over those 12 contests. As for Fike, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 15-5-2 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hunt will head out to square off against East Wake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fike, they will venture away from home to challenge Lee County at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
