Football Game Preview: Brighton Bulldogs vs. Fort Collins Lambkins + How To Watch

The Brighton Bulldogs will square off against the Fort Collins Lambkins at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Brighton has given up an average of 42.5 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Brighton is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Fairview on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Bulldogs were dealt a 45-15 defeat at the hands of the Knights. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-0.

Although Brighton took the loss, they still got scores from Mason Swearengin and Sean Gallagher.

Meanwhile, Fort Collins was able to grind out a solid victory over Rocky Mountain on Friday, taking the game 42-35.

Brighton better keep an eye on Jack McKeon. He was instrumental in Fort Collins' win, rushing for 313 yards and four touchdowns. That's the most rushing touchdowns McKeon has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Cranford, who threw for 141 yards and a pair of TDs.

Fort Collins was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 334 rushing yards. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their rushing yard total in four consecutive matchups.

Fort Collins pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.0 points over those games. As for Brighton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
