Volleyball Recap: Wilber-Clatonia Comes Up Short

Wilber-Clatonia lost against David City back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wolverines fell 2-0 to the Scouts.

Haleah Schuerman paced Wilber-Clatonia's offense, picking up eight kills. Schuerman got some help from Brynn Zajicek and her four assists.

Wilber-Clatonia has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season. As for David City, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Wilber-Clatonia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Thayer Central on the 30th. As for David City, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Schuyler on the 7th.
