Basketball Game Recap: Eugene Eagles vs. Macks Creek Pirates

On Monday, Eugene had to suffer through a rough 70-21 loss at the hands of Macks Creek. Eugene was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-16.

Macks Creek was led to victory by Addison Ratliff and India Willis. Ratliff scored 24 points along with 6 assists, while Willis scored 20 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Ratliff has scored at least 25% of Macks Creek's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Duggan, who scored 8 points along with 7 assists.

Eugene's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Macks Creek, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.
