Middle Park had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Basalt Longhorns with a sharp 3-0 win. Middle Park might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by three goals or more this season.

Macey Childers and Aylin Rios scored all three of Middle Park's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 25 goals.

Middle Park's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those five contests. As for Basalt, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-3.

Middle Park wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 5-0 victory against Arrupe Jesuit on the 28th. As for Basalt, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 6-0 loss against Steamboat Springs on the 29th.
