Baseball Recap: Seymour Comes Up Short

Seymour fell victim to Moravia and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Mohawks, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mohawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 on Monday.

Seymour has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Moravia, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Seymour will take on Wayne at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.25 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. Moravia has already played their next contest (against Martensdale-St. Mary's), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
