Volleyball Recap: Barton Comes Up Short

If Barton was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Stuttgart on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears fell just short of the Corning Bobcats by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

Barton's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Corning, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Barton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Forrest City on the 22nd. As for Corning, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Trumann on the 22nd.
