Volleyball Recap: Oswayo Valley Takes a Loss

Oswayo Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Cuba-Rushford Rebels. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rebels this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Oswayo Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Cuba-Rushford, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Coming up, Oswayo Valley will be playing in front of their home fans against Port Allegany at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cuba-Rushford, they will head out to challenge Fillmore at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
