Basketball Recap: Cedar Ridge Comes Up Short

Cedar Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 38-34 heartbreaker at the hands of the Riverview Raiders. The Timberwolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.

Cedar Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Riverview, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-9.

Looking ahead, Cedar Ridge won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bald Knob at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Riverview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
