Baseball Recap: White House-Heritage Gets the Win

White House-Heritage posted their closest victory since April 12th on Monday. They skirted past the Station Camp Bison 11-9. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-6 back in March.

The team relied heavily on Caleb Cayce, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three doubles, two runs, and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Dane Hinshaw was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs.

White House-Heritage always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .656. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

White House-Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-9 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Station Camp, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-16.

As of now, neither White House-Heritage nor the Bison have any future games scheduled.
