Volleyball Recap: Ardrey Kell Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

There's no place like home for Ardrey Kell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Rocky River Ravens with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 3rd.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Ardrey Kell took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-1, 25-10, 25-9.

Their offense was headlined by Sydney Pendleton and Brooke Dabney, who picked up nine kills apiece. They got some help from Sabrina Fumero and her 18 assists. Bozhidara Dimova controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Ardrey Kell pushed their record up to 14-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Rocky River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.
