Basketball Recap: Millville Comes Up Short

Millville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 62-45 to the Neumann Regional Academy Golden Knights. The Quakers were not able to make up for their loss to the Golden Knights from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Neumann Regional Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jager Woodring, who posted 21 points. Another player making a difference was Andrew Walter, who scored 18 points.

Millville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Neumann Regional Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-8.

Millville has already played their next match (against Muncy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Neumann Regional Academy has already played their next contest, a 66-47 loss against Northwest Area on the 22nd.
