Volleyball Recap: Granger Lancers vs. West Panthers
Granger proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the West Panthers 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Lancers: when they faced off against the Panthers last Friday, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.
Granger wouldn't go down easily and took West into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-19, 20-25, 25-23, 15-12.
Kj Faaome paced Granger's offense, picking up 25 kills. Faaome got some help from Ky Hoang and his 37 assists. Faaome was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.
