Basketball Recap: Allegany Takes a Loss

Allegany was the 61-54 winner over Northern Garrett when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Allegany Campers were just a bucket shy of victory on Wednesday and fell 58-57 to the Northern Garrett Huskies.

Allegany's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Northern Garrett, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 7-6.

Allegany will head out to take on Fort Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Allegany's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests. As for Northern Garrett, they will square off against Southern at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Southern is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.5 points per game this season.
