James Wood entered their tilt with Riverside on Saturday with 17 consecutive wins dating back to last season, and they'll enter their next game with 18. They came out on top against the Ram by a score of 2-0. For the Colonels, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 win the Ram walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

James Wood not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Riverside between 16 and 17 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-16.

Brenna Corbin paced James Wood's offense, picking up 11 kills. Corbin got some help from Bella Middleton and her ten assists. Kennedy Spaid controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
