Rabb, who will play at California next year, led the Dragons to a 28-4 overall record and a No. 3 national ranking. He is ranked by 247 Sports as the No. 7 overall recruit in the nation.

Rabb heads the 30-member MaxPreps California All-State Team, which includes a first, second and third team and 15 honorable mention spots (listed in no particular order). A first and second team for each of the five state divisions is listed along with a division MVP.

Rabb is also the Division III MVP even though Bishop O'Dowd played in the Open Division in the state playoffs. Open Division teams were placed in their section enrollment division for the purposes of selecting the all-state teams.

Brian Botteen of San Ramon Valley gets the nod as the California Coach of the Year. In his first year with the Wolves, Botteen's squad finished in third place in the East Bay Athletic League standings and they were eliminated from the North Coast Section playoffs in the semifinals. However, San Ramon Valley got a second chance in the state playoffs and defeated Chino Hills in double overtime for the Division I state championship.
