The Rocky Hill Terriers will head out to take on the Wethersfield Eagles at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Rocky Hill is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.4 runs per game this season.

Wethersfield will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Rocky Hill extended their winning streak to three on Monday. The Terriers blew past Manchester 23-3. That looming 23-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Terriers yet this season.

Mia Ferreira made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Ferreira was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025.

In other batting news, Sophia Milman was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Juliana Incarvito, who got on base in five of her six plate appearances with four runs and two stolen bases.

Rocky Hill kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Wethersfield never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Plainville. The Eagles have beaten the Blue Devils the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Blue Devils has come to flipping the script.

Rocky Hill's record is now 6-2. As for Wethersfield, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Rocky Hill suffered a grim 12-1 defeat to Wethersfield in their previous meeting back in May of 2025. Can the Terriers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
