Basketball Recap: Altavista Takes a Loss

Altavista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 44-20 to the William Campbell Generals. If the Colonels were looking for revenge after losing 54-23 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Altavista's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for William Campbell, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4.

Altavista will head out to challenge Prince Edward County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Prince Edward County will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Altavista surely won't give up without a fight. As for William Campbell, they will host Nelson County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
