Poquoson gave up the first goal on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They skirted past the Nandua Warriors 2-1. Poquoson haven't had any issues with Nandua recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Lucas Markley and Jonas Bryant scored both of Poquoson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

Poquoson's win bumped their record up to 4-6-1. As for Nandua, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Coming up, Poquoson will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Warhill at 7:00 p.m. As for Nandua, they will face off against Arcadia at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Nandua will be up against Arcadia's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.13 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
