Volleyball Recap: Eastmark Comes Up Short

Eastmark lost against Sunrise Mountain back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Eastmark took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sunrise Mountain.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19.

Sunrise Mountain can attribute much of their success to Conlan Hopkins, who had seven digs and two assists.

Eastmark's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Sunrise Mountain, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Eastmark is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge ALA - Gilbert North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. ALA - Gilbert North will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Eastmark surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sunrise Mountain, they will challenge Mica Mountain at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The last six games Mica Mountain has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
