Canisteo-Greenwood blew East Rochester out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday East Rochester got their revenge. The Canisteo-Greenwood Chargers fell just short of the East Rochester Bombers by a score of 46-44. The Chargers' loss signaled the end of their ten-game winning streak.

Canisteo-Greenwood's defeat dropped their record down to 18-4. As for East Rochester, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

Canisteo-Greenwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Rochester, they will head out on the road to square off against Avon on Saturday. Avon knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully East Rochester likes a good challenge.
