It was a good run, but  Harrisburg unfortunately witnessed the end of their  14-game winning streak on Thursday. They came up short against  the Washington Warriors, falling  9-2. The  game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
  Brooklyn Haffey was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-2 with one  home run.  Jayci Olson also deserves some recognition as  she  hit her first  double of the season.
Harrisburg's defeat dropped their record down to 14-2. As for Washington, they pushed their record up to 10-2 with the  victory, which was their tenth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Harrisburg and Washington should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps South Dakota Rankings. The Tigers will  square off against  Mitchell  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday with a big rank  advantage  (2 vs. 36). Meanwhile,  Washington (ranked fifth) will meet Aberdeen Central (ranked 61st)  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
