It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Caliche had no problem doing just that on Friday. They skirted past the Prairie Mustangs 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Buffaloes: when they faced off against the Mustangs back in October, they had to take a 3-2 defeat.

Leading Caliche to victory were Hayden Walker and Hallie Lewis. Walker had 12 digs, while Lewis had ten digs, six kills, and two aces. Walker has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Caliche is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season. As for Prairie, their loss dropped their record down to 20-8.

Caliche has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Flatirons Academy on the 15th. Prairie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
