After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Science Hill, Elizabethton was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They came out on top against the David Crockett Pioneers by a score of 9-6. The win continues a trend for the Fighting Cyclones in their matchups with the Pioneers: they've now won four in a row.

Elizabethton's victory bumped their record up to 17-10. As for David Crockett, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-17.
